The bench we sit on at the end of the day. Solid grade-A teak, mortise-and-tenon joinery, and a gently pitched back that makes lingering the natural choice. Left untreated it silvers beautifully; oiled, it keeps its honey warmth.

Living with it
It only gets better with weather
Teak is one of the few woods that improves outdoors. Its natural oils repel water, so it does not need to be sealed, painted or hidden away when the forecast turns. Over a season or two the surface settles into a soft, even silver-grey that a lot of our customers come back for on purpose.
If you prefer the warmer, freshly-milled tone, a light coat of teak oil in spring and late summer holds it. Either way, the joinery is the same: pegged mortise-and-tenon corners that stay tight through Ontario’s freeze-and-thaw, year after year.
