Living with it
Plant once, move it easily
Most planters force a trade-off: the heavy ones that look right are a nightmare to move and a risk on a balcony, while the light ones look hollow. Fibreclay splits the difference — it reads as solid stoneware but is light enough to rearrange on a whim and safe on raised decks.
Because the drainage is already sorted, you can plant the same afternoon the set arrives. We crock the base, use a free-draining mix and lift each pot onto feet so roots never sit in standing water through a wet spring.
